Serin Link DIY Kit
Build your own Serin Link, a rotary knob display for controlling your mini-split from a desk, shelf, or nightstand. Turn the knob to set temperature. Press for mode and fan speed.
Display sold separately. This kit requires the VIEWE 1.5-inch UEDX46460015-MD50ET display module.
Choose an orange or black printed stand, or print your own using the included STL file. The sensor board arrives assembled and tested. Fit the parts together, connect your display, and install the free, open-source firmware. No soldering required.
Included in every kit
- Serin Link PCB with SHT41 temperature and humidity sensor
- Four M2.5 × 8 mm mounting screws
- Ball-end Allen key
- Precut, self-adhesive silicone bottom pad
The printed-stand option also includes the stand and snap-fit bottom cap. The print-your-own option includes one STL file containing both parts instead. You still receive all the physical hardware listed above. The STL is provided for personal use under the build guide’s file-use terms.
What you’ll need
- The supported VIEWE display, purchased separately
- A Serin Controller at each indoor unit, or a compatible ESPHome climate device
- A computer with a supported browser and a USB data cable to install firmware
- A USB power adapter; Link has no battery
Serin Link communicates wirelessly with your compatible controller. It does not connect directly to the heat pump.
